The programmes
Asana groups its early-career hiring under AsanaUP, with three distinct routes:
- AsanaUP Internship: a 12-16 week program placing current college or university students onto Engineering, Data Science, or Product Design teams (program page).
- AsanaUP New Graduates: full-time hires onto the Engineering and Data Science teams, paired with a mentor and technical bootcamps from day one.
- AsanaUP Apprenticeships: a route for people entering tech from non-traditional backgrounds, structured around skills, mentorship, and a pathway to full-time employment.
A candidate's realistic option set is fixed before application: AsanaUP is three structurally different programs, each tied to a narrow set of function tracks, so the decision is which route fits current study status and target function rather than how many to apply to in parallel.
